Am 2. März 2009 berichtete Kloart im Artikel "Mhm, lecker!" bereits über die Liste der Ekelrestaurants, die das Bezirksamt Berlin-Pankow veröffentlichen ließ, um die Schwarzen Schafe in der Gastronomie mittels Hygienekontrollen ausfindig zu machen und an den Pranger zu stellen. Nun soll die Liste der Ekel-Restaurants durch Fotos erweitert werden. Die stichwortartigen Zustandsbeschreibungen der Ekelliste sollen durch visuelle Eindrücke verstärkt werden. Morgen sollen die Bilder dann in den Restaurant-Pranger integriert und die Liste ebenfalls aktualisiert werden. Die Negativ-Liste, sowie eine Liste der Restaurants, die den Test positiv bestanden, finden Sie hier.
Im Moment sind auf der Liste 23 Einrichtungen aufgeführt, die durch katastrophale hygienische Zustände aufgefallen sind, neben Restaurants auch Imbissbuden, Obst- und Gemüsehändler, sowie Bäckereien und Metzgereien. Bis zu 20 Betriebe könnten durch die Aktualisierung der Ekelliste am Freitag nun noch hinzukommen.
In einem Anhörungsverfahren können diese Betriebe nun noch nachweisen, dass sie die vom Veterinäramt festgestellten Mängel beseitigt haben, ansonsten erfolgt eine Registrierung auf der Liste der unhygienischen Einrichtungen. Ein Restaurantbesitzer, der wegen der Veröffentlichung seiner Mängelliste vor das Verwaltungsgericht ziehen wollte, hat seine Anklage zurückgezogen, nachdem ihm das Gericht die Aussichtslosigkeit seiner Bemühungen deutlich gemacht hatte. Pankow arbeitet in diesem Pilotprojekt eng mit der Senatsverwaltung für Gesundheit zusammen.
